WHAT: Our  annual gala this year is themed “Dancing through the Decades” to support our safety net services and programs for the working poor, homeless, and elderly. There’ll be the Silent auction and a Not-So-Silent auction, too. Hors d’oeuvres and hosted bar will allow for mingling, visiting, and networking before dinner. There will be dancing, partying, and merry-making…all for a good cause.

WHY: We wish that poverty, hunger, homelessness, and aging issues weren’t with us, but they are… and more and more people and families find themselves in need of our services. This fundraising event will benefit our programs and services for the low-income individuals and families, unemployed, homeless, and elderly in Mountain View, Los Altos, and Los Altos Hills. Last year more than 5,000 individuals were helped through our programs supported with the generosity of the community.

WHERE: Crowne Plaza Cabana Hotel, 4290 El Camino Real, in Palo Alto.
