Challenge Diabetes Program

If you have prediabetes, eating healthier and being more active can reduce your chances of developing type 2 diabetes by half.

46% of Santa Clara County adults are estimated to have prediabetes or undiagnosed diabetes. Low income and Latino/a, African American, and Asian adults are at a higher risk for diabetes. The Challenge Diabetes Program, funded by El Camino Hospital, aims to improve health outcomes for diabetic and prediabetic clients by providing healthy food and information about making lifestyle changes.
