CSA is pleased to announce the promotion of Alicia Herrick to Director of Senior Services. Alicia has been with the agency for two years, serving as a Senior Services Intensive Case Manager. In this capacity, Alicia has worked closely with seniors to help them prevent repeat hospitalizations, and has also managed outreach to community partners.
Since the pandemic began in March 2020, Alicia has been an integral part of developing the COVID-19 Relief Program, which strives to meet the direct food security needs of homebound seniors during this public health crisis. Since 2020, this program has assisted over 100 individuals, flourishing under the guidance of Alicia and other CSA staff members.
“I am constantly impressed by the support and acceptance the Senior Services team provides to our clients. I could not be more thrilled to have this opportunity to lead CSA in providing the best possible care and resources to seniors in our region,” says Alicia.
“Alicia has shown great compassion in caring for the needs of her clients,” says Alex Imbesi, CSA Director of Operations, who most recently headed the Senior Services Department. “Alicia is resourceful and driven and always takes time to understand the best resources available to her clients. I know that she will take those attributes and apply them to making the Senior Services department the best it can be.
Alicia graduated from Hope College with a Bachelor of Arts in international studies. She also holds a graduate certificate in restorative justice from Fresno Pacific University. In her free time, she enjoys reading fiction, trying out new and delicious recipes, and expanding her ever-growing plant collection.
