CSA is pleased to announce the promotion of LaDrea Clark to Food and Nutrition Center (FNC) Program Director. Clark has been with CSA for 17 years, first serving as FNC Assistant before moving into her most recent position as Volunteer and Special Events Coordinator.
As Volunteer and Special Events Coordinator, Clark focused on recruiting and retaining volunteers for CSA’s safety net services as well as assisting with fundraising events such as Empty Bowls. Under her care, CSA’s volunteer base grew and thrived, with many volunteers expressing their appreciation for Clark and how compassionately and efficiently she set them up for success in their roles.
Clark loves engaging directly with volunteers and clients and is excited to move into a leadership position at CSA making the lives of our clients a little easier in whatever way she can. She also appreciates working with the CSA staff; “CSA is like family to me because I’ve been here for so long,” she says. “I keep in touch with people even after they leave. I like helping people, making people feel good, and making people smile. I like to help them enjoy the work they’re doing.”
Says Tom Myers, CSA Executive Director, “LaDrea is one of our long-term employees who shows how impactful a single person can be. CSA would not be the same without her warmth and generosity. I know that she will lead the FNC in an upward trajectory and continue serving our clients with dignity and respect.”
Clark is the mother of three children and is actively involved in her faith community.
Congratulations to LaDrea on her promotion. Any position that offers a chance to help people better their lives will find LaDrea excelling. She really loves people and will definitely be an asset in the development of of the Food and Nutrition Center. I am so glad that CSA recognizes her skills and commitment.
